According to Hindu scriptures, the birth of Nityananda Prabhu was born on Trayodashi Tithi of Magh month. Many people will not know about Nityananda Prabhu, then tell you that in Kali Yuga, Gaurang Mahaprabhu, also known as Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, took an incarnation, which is considered to be the incarnation of Lord Krishna and the same.

 Also, his brother Balaram had also incarnated with him, whose name was Nityananda. Confirmation of this is found in many texts. He took this incarnation in Kalyug to spread the name of Lord Krishna to people and he spent his life in remembrance of God and preaching His name.

A Hari devotee named Narottam das Thakur says in reference to him, "If you are anxious to have company with Sri Sri Radha-Krishna in the Bhagavadham, the best tip is to take shelter of Sri Nityanad Prabhu."

The appearance of Lord Nityananda

 Nityananda Trayodashi Puja Vidhi or Rituals

On the day of Nityananda Trayodashi, devotees quick until midday and pray to Lord Nityananda for non secular power. The celebrations start within the night with a pallakki utsava of Sri Sri Nitai Gauranga (Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Lord Nityananda).   The Deities are bathed with scented water and given a sandal oil therapeutic massage.

After the therapeutic massage the Deities are bathed with panchamrita (milk, curd, sweetened water, ghee and honey) and panchagavya. The Deities are then bathed with unique fruit juices and water combined with natural extracts. The sarvaushadhi snana is adopted by 108 kalasha snana and concludes with pushpa-vrishti (showering of aromatic flowers on the Deities).  The deities are offered a feast of 56 chappan bhog .
