Kajari Teej Puja Katha: Story of Kajari Teej

There lived a poor Brahmin's family in a village. The Brahmin's wife observed the fast of Kajari
Teej in the month of Bhadrapada and said to the Brahmin, O Swami, today is my Teej fast. Get a gram sattu for me from somewhere. But the Brahmin got upset and said that from where should I bring Sattu fortunately. On this, the Brahmin's wife said that I want gram sattu at any cost.

After hearing this, the Brahmin left the house at night. He went straight to the moneylender's shop and made gram flour, ghee, sugar, etc. and made one and a quarter kilos of sattu. After doing so, the Brahmin tied his bundle and started going. Then the moneylender's servants woke up to hear the sound of a clamor, and he started making a thief.

He caught the Brahmin. The moneylender also reached there. The Brahmin said that I am very poor and my wife has kept Teej fast today. That is why I have made only one and a quarter kilogram sattu from here. When the Brahmin was searched, nothing came out except Sattu. The moon had come out there and the Brahmin's wife was waiting.

The moneylender said that today I will consider your wife as my religious sister. He left the Brahmin well by giving him Satu, jewels, rupees, mehndi, and a lot of money. Everyone worshiped Kajali Mata together. Just as the days of Brahmin turned around, so did everyone's day. Kajari Mata is kind to everyone.
