Vallabhacharya brief life Introduction

The originator of Pushtimarg, Sri Vallabhacharya, was born in 1535 in Vikram Samvat, Kankarwad village of South India, presently in Champaran close to Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh, to the Lakshman Bhatt Ji.  Mother's name was Illamagaru. There's also a legend about his birth based on which it's stated that he simply born in Ashtamas from the womb of Mother Illamagaru.

The mother and father left he dead, after which Shri Nathji himself appeared to Mother Illamagaru in his dream and stated that Shri Nathji himself has appeared from his womb, the child whom he will have left dead is alive. After that, the mother and father reached the same place to take them again and noticed that he's sucking a thumb in the middle of the fire pit, and across the fire pit, seven Avgadha sadhus are sitting.

When he told the sadhus that the child is his, then they took the child from the fireplace pit. He expressed his inability to take away the child. Then he took discover of Shri Nathji and took out his child from the fireplace pit. Because of this, Shri Vallabhacharya Ji can also be thought-about as a firefighter, and Champaran is considered to be the site of affirmative practice.

Throughout his travels, he also worshiped Shri Nathji at places like Mathura, Govardhan, etc. Vallabhacharya's 84 meetings, 84 disciples, and 84 texts are famous. They have been married only on their second visit.

He also had two sons Gopinath and Vitthalnath. After which he went to Vrindavan and got absorbed in Krishna devotion. An enormous temple of Shrinathji was in-built Giriraj along with his inspiration in Samvat 1556. Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya's installed Pushtimarga has had many religious poets. Mahakavi Surdas, Kumbhandas, Paramanandadas, Krishnadas, and so on. are special.

Gosai Vitthaldas has honored these eight poets of Pushtimarga as Ashthachap. Vallabhacharya's 84 meetings, 84 disciples, and 84 texts are famous.

How Vallabhacharya Jayanti is Celebrated?

The festival of Vallabhacharya Jayanti is widely known with great pomp. Temples are decorated with flowers on this day. Lord Krishna is anointed on this day. After which duly worshiped and aarti is performed to Lord Shri Krishna. In temples, folks and mantras continue throughout this day.

A tableau of Lord Krishna is taken out on this day. Important and literary works of Vallabhacharya are remembered on this day and they're praised. Prasad is distributed amongst all of the devotees on this day.

Vallabhacharya Jayanti is mainly celebrated on the day of Varuthini Ekadashi. Which falls on the Krishna Paksha of Chaitra month according to Tamil calendar and Krishna Paksha of Baisakh month according to the North Indian calendar. This festival is mainly celebrated in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Chennai, Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.
