Engineer Day is celebrated on 15 September in India. This day is the birthday of India's great engineer and Bharatratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He was one of the great engineers of India, he created modern India and gave a new look to India. This day, every year since 1968, is celebrated as the Engineers Day in India, to recognize the contribution of engineers' in the development of the nation.
