Lord Vamana disguised as a dwarf Brahmin and went to Bali, son of Virochan and grandson of Prahlada. He asked Bali to own three Steps of land for his stay. Shukracharya, the guru of the Asuras, warned Bali not to do so. But Bali promised to give three steps to Lord Vamana.

After this, Lord Vamana took his large type, in step one, he measured the entire earth (earth) and in the second, the heaven was measured. When there was no land left for the third step, Bali pointed his head for the third step.

Pleased with Lord Vamana Bali's commitment, he decided to give him the Hades. He positioned the third step on Bali's head, which led him to the Hades. In this way, Lord Vamana got the gods back to their heavens and liberated them from the fear of sacrifice.
