Ganesh Chaturthi Puja Vidhi :

First of all, meditate on Lord Ganesha, and then the first thing you need to bathe Ganesha's idol and offer him new clothes and flowers. Then offer flowers, Akshat, and Duba, etc.

Keep fruits in addition to ladoos to Ganesha in the prasad. Place a water-filled urn on the wheat and a coconut on it. Remember, do not bring any kind of Jealous in your mind during worship. By doing this you do not get the grace of your worship.

After this, perform aarti of God by lit a lamp and there are many aarti lines in Ganesh Ji's Aarti so that while chanting just keep in mind that the pronunciation of Aarti's line should be pure. For Aarti, there should be a light of cotton made of pure ghee.

Ganesh Chaturthi Vrat Katha :

One day Lord Shankar and Mata Parvati were sitting near the Narmada River. There Goddess Parvati asked Lord Bholenath to play Chaupad to spend time. At the request of his wife, Lord Shankar agreed to play Chaupad. But who will decide the victory or defeat in this game?

His question arose, in response to this, Lord Bholenath collected some small sticks and made a sculpture, making the sculpture and told the sculpture that son we want to play Chaupad. But there is no one to decide our victory or defeat. That is why you tell who among us loses and who wins. After saying this, the game of Chaupad started. The game was played three times, and incidentally, Parvati won three times. At the end of the game, the child was asked to decide the victory and defeat, then the boy declared Mahadev as victorious.

Hearing this, Goddess Parvati became angry and in anger, she blessed the child to be lame and lying in the mud. The child apologized to his mother and said that this happened due to ignorance, I did not do this in any malice. On asking the child's forgiveness, the mother said that Nag girls will come here to worship Ganesha, according to their saying, do fasting Ganesha, by doing this you will get me, saying that the mother went to Mount Kailash with Lord Shiva.

Exactly one year later, Nag girls came to that place. After knowing the method of fasting of Ganesha from the nag girls, the child fasted for 21 days continuously. Ganesh Ji was pleased after seeing his reverence. And Shri Ganesh asked the child to ask for the desired fruit. The child has said that Vinayak give me so much power, that I can walk with my parents and reach Mount Kailash with my parents and they will be happy to see it.

Bhagwan Shankar told this fast to Goddess ParvatiHearing this, Goddess Parvati wished to meet her son Kartikeya too. Mother also fasted Shri Ganesh for 21 days and worshiped Shri Ganesh with Durva, flowers, and ladoos. On the 21st day of the fast, Karthikeya himself met Parvati. From that day onwards, the fast of Shri Ganesh Chaturthi is considered to be a fast to fulfill wishes.

Whether it is Diwali or Holi, Dussehra, or Janmashtami, any worship in Hinduism is considered incomplete without worshiping Ganesha and especially Lord Ganesha and Mother Lakshmi are worshiped on the day of Diwali. Where Goddess Lakshmi is considered the goddess of wealth, then Lord Ganesha is the donor of Riddhi Siddhi. Ganesh Ji also holds the title of the first idol. so, he is worshiped first.
