Ganga Saptami is an auspicious day for Hindus that is celebrated in honour of Goddess Ganga. Ganga Saptami, also known as Ganga Jayanti, is the reincarnation day of Goddess Ganga and is considered one of the most auspicious days for the Hindus. As per Hindu calendar, Ganga Saptami is celebrated on the seventh day (saptami tithi) during Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaisakh.
