Jhulelal Jayanti is the most famous festival in Sindhi society, mainly celebrated in Jhulelal temples. Baba Jhulelal is also known by some of the names such as Laal Sai, Udero Lal, Varun Dev, Dulah Lal, Dariya Lal and Zinda Peer. For Sindhi Hindus, Jhulelal is a name that refers to the Ishta Dev (most-revered deity) of Sindhi Hindus, who regard him to be an incarnation of the Hindu deity Varuna.
