Kabirdas Jayanti is a yearly event that celebrates the birth anniversary of Kabir Das. It is celebrated on the ‘Purnima’ during the month of ‘Jyesta’ in the traditional Hindu calendar. Kabirdas was a renowned poet, saint and social reformer and lived in the 15 century. According to the traditional Hindu calendar, the day falls on the full moon day of the Jyeshta month. Kabirdas was a worshiper of Nirgun Brahm. He believed that God is present in the whole world.
