Prabodhini Ekadashi is a Hindu festival celebrated with reverence to Hindu God Vishnu. Prabodhini Ekadashi also known as Devotthan Ekadashi. Prabodhini Ekadashi is mainly celebrated in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand and Maharashtra and also in some southern states. Prabodhini Ekadashi is celebrated in the Hindu calendar month of Kartik on the 11th lunar day (ekadashi) in the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) of the Hindu month of Kartik. On this day p eople worship Lord Vishnu and organise ‘Satyanarayana Puja’ and Katha in home. Prabodhini Ekadasi, do follow all these rituals and conduct the Tulsi Vivah, to bring happiness in married life. Prabodhini Ekadashi is a ritual when Lord Vishnu is awakened who is considered sleeping for four months during Dev Shayani Ekadashi.
